Garages & Storage Buildings

Garages are a very popular option with a Design Home.  Unlike the home itself, though, garages do not have a floor system to hold them together during delivery to the site.  It is therefore necessary to use "panelized" construction.  The walls are loaded onto a flatbed trailer with rafters and other materials on top, and then set into place with a small boom at the site.  It is important to have a site that is prepared and ready for the workmen when they arrive.

Some attached garages are available only with the purchase of a new home--and in certain areas.
